Ingredients
  • 50 Servings
  • 400 g Cooked risotto or sticky rice
  • 50 g grated Jarlsberg®
  • 50 of small Jarlsberg® cubes
  • 1-2 eggs
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 oil for frying
  • 1 salt & pepper to taste
Here is how you do it
  1. Mix the grated Jarlsberg® into the cooled, cooked rice.
  2. Take a small handful of rice, flatten it in your hand and place a cube of Jarlsberg® in the center, wrap the rice around it to form a ball.
  3. Dip in beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve warm – cheesy and gooey inside!

 

To make it even more special, add a stock cube when cooking the rice and add in some chopped mushrooms
