A 1950s classic, Sloppy Joe never goes out of style! Up your burger game with slices of sweet and nutty Jarlsberg®.
Here is how you do it
Finely chop the onion, garlic and chorizo. Fry for a few minutes in a little oil or butter in a frying pan and then add the ground meat. Fry over high heat until everything has browned, then lower the temperature. Add the tomato paste, canned tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper and simmer until the mixture becomes a thick sauce. It should not be runny. Lightly toast the bread in a hot pan. Cut the Jarlsberg® cheese into slices.
Thinly slice the vegetables and pickles. Spoon the sauce onto the bread and top with vegetables and pickles, and lots of Jarlsberg®.
For this recipe you can use Jarlsberg® Original, Lite or Special Reserve.
