Ingredients
  • 2 Servings
  • 200 g tender beef, thinly sliced
  • 150 g Jarlsberg®, shredded
  • 1 of spices to taste (e.g., salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder)
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Here is how you do it

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Add a slice of beef and cook until lightly browned and tender. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste. Leave to rest.

Lay out the flour tortillas on a flat surface. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded Jarlsberg® on each tortilla.

Slice the lightly cooked beef and distribute the slices on top of the cheese.

Fold the tortillas in half to create quesadillas.

Place the quesadillas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Serve with chimichurri.

Chimichurri:

1 cup Fresh parsley (remove the stems)

3-4 Fresh garlic cloves

2 tbs Fresh oregano

1/3 Good quality olive oil

2 tbs Red wine vinegar

1 Fresh red chilli

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

Chop parsley, garlic, and red chilli: Finely chop the fresh parsley, garlic, and red chili. This ensures a vibrant and flavorful base for your chimichurri.

Mix in wet ingredients together in a bowl: Combine the chopped ingredients with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano. Stir well to create a consistent sauce.
