The Crispy Baked Pepperoni Melt with Jarlsberg®

  • 1 slice of sourdough bread or any bread of your choice
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • a few slices of pepperoni or salami
  • 2-3 cherry tomatoes 
  • fresh basil (optional)
  • olive oil, according to taste
Here is how you do it

Grate the cheese and chop the tomatoes. Spread the tomato paste on the bread and add the cheese, pepperoni/salami and tomatoes. Heat in the oven (480 °F for around 7 mins) until the cheese is nicely browned. Top with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.
