• Roasted Pepper Marinated Jarlsberg® Cheese •

You will need

  • 6 oz Jarlsberg® Original, Lite or Hickory Smoked cheese
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme or oregano (or equivalent dried)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp. capers
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small jar roasted red peppers, reserve liquid

Makes 1 jar


Make sure the glass jar is clean and has a tight lid. Cube the Jarlsberg® cheese and chop the red peppers and thyme. Mince the garlic. Whisk liquid from red peppers with oil, herbs, garlic and capers. Layer the Jarlsberg® cheese and peppers. Cover with marinade and seal tightly. Place the jar in the fridge to marinate for a day; best to use within 3 days at the most.
