Everyone’s favorite

Crispy, crunchy, salty, spicy, thin, thick, greasy, meaty, doughy, healthy, fresh, frozen – the variations of pizza are endless and we tend to all have our very own opinion on what makes this classic dish good.

This thin nice crust and traditional tomato sauce is a great basis and will work with whatever toppings you prefer. Personally we love the mouthwatering combination of mild artichokes, nutty Jarlsberg® cheese, roasted pine nuts and fresh basil leaves.

Invite your friends over and enjoy – or even better, have them all join in on the cooking. We promise it is so much fun, just take a look here.

To make the Pizza

1. Start with the dough. Add the yeast, salt, olive oil in a bowl before adding the lukewarm water. Mix everything by hand or preferably by using a dough kneader. Add flour gradually until you get an elastic and not-too-soft dough. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for about 60 minutes.

2. To make the tomato sauce, add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix using a hand blender. When the dough is ready, shape it into a thin round or square shape.

3. Preheat the oven with the baking tray inside at 250ºC. Add tomato sauce, grated Jarlsberg® cheese and finally the artichokes (cut in large strips). Bake in oven at 250ºC for 15 minutes.

4. While waiting for the pizza to be done, roast the pine nuts in a dry pan. Finally, add the roasted pine nuts and basil leaves on top of the pizza and enjoy.
