This indulgent, creamy Jarlsberg® Croque Monsieur is perfect for special weekend brunches
1. Make a white sauce by melting the butter in a pan and gradually adding the flour, stirring well. Gradually stir in the milk to get a smooth mixture, and add grated nutmeg, pepper and salt to taste. Boil the eggs as you like them and set aside. 2. Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients. Fry the large bread slices in melted butter in a frying pan and top with the white sauce. Top the bread with the slices of ham and Jarlsberg® cheese and brown under the grill until the cheese has melted. 3. Serve this fabulous breakfast garnished with a few salad leaves, dressed with vinaigrette and topped with the egg.
