In this effortless salad, created by The Culinary Institute of Norway, Hickory Smoked Jarlsberg® cheese adds delicious smoky-buttery contrast to crisp fennel and apple. Serve simply with rustic bread and butter for a perfect light lunch, or enjoy as a side dish to grilled chicken, steak or fish.
Cube Hickory Smoked Jarlsberg® cheese. Shave fennel and red onion into super thin slices. Chop apple into bite-size pieces. Peel oranges and section. Finely dice chives and chop the olives (seeds removed). Gently toss all ingredients together with fresh lime juice and zest, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
