You will need

  • 8 slices Jarlsberg® Original, Hickory Smoked, or Lite cheese, halved
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 12 slices country white or sourdough bread
  • 12 slices country style bacon, applewood or maple flavor, halved
  • 2 tbsp. crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 4 medium tomatoes, cut to make 16 slices
  • 1 tsp. curry
  • 16 Lettuce leaves

A sensational sandwich

Guaranteed to hit the spot, Jarlsberg® cheese takes the classic BLT – bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich – to new levels of scrumptious-ness!

To make your J-BLTs

Fry bacon until crisp, set aside. Make the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, crème fraîche, mustard and curry, salt and pepper to taste. To make each sandwich: spread 1 tablespoon dressing mixture on slice of bread. Top with 2 lettuce leaves, 2 tomatoes, 2 halves Jarlsberg® cheese and 2 halves bacon. Top with slice of bread and repeat layer process one more time before finishing with third slice of bread. Cut each sandwich in half before serving.
