• Chopped Kale Salad with Jarlsberg®, bacon and Apples •

• Ingredients •

You will need

  • olive oil for drizzling
  • lemon or balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 cup purple onion
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 6 cups chopped kale
  • 2 cups apples
  • 1 cup cubed Jarlsberg® Lite or Jarlsberg® Hickory Smoked Cheese
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Makes 6 portions

To Make the Salad

Cube Jarlsberg® into desired size. Use Jarlsberg® Hickory Smoked Cheese for a smoky-buttery contrast to the crisp apple. Toss together all ingredients in large salad bowl. Drizzle on olive oil and vinaigrette to taste. Serve and Enjoy.
