You will need
- 1 loaf of French toast, unsliced
- 2.5 cups Jarlsberg Original, grated
- 5 ml white wine
- 1 cup milk
- Shaved truffles if desired

A twist on modern fondue
Impress your guests - pass the bread bowl!
To make the dish
Cut the top from the French toast loaf and scoop out the insides to make a bowl. Roast at 150°C in the oven until crunchy. Turn a few times to ensure it roasts evenly.
Boil the white wine and milk together, then whisk in the grated cheese to make a smooth sauce. Pour the cheese sauce inside the bread bowl. Dip veggies, meat, fish or seafood and enjoy!
