The Jarlsberg loaf is primarily sold at cheese counters in the north of Germany. The Jarlsberg products are nationally available in all major food stores, but not in discount stores. Market traders hold a 25% share of the market and Jarlsberg enjoys an ideal positioning through the specialised wholesale trade.
