One of 13 recipes from concept "Celebrating with Jarlsberg" on the occasion of 50 years anniversary. The menu has been created by experts at the Culinary Institute of Norway. They have taken inspiration from festivities in a selection of 13 Jarlsberg® countries.

Shashlyk with Jarlsberg® wrapped in bacon and pearl onions

12 long skewers
600 g Jarlsberg in approx. 2x2 cm
cubes
18 slices bacon
18 pearl onions

Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap around the Jarlsberg cubes. Put Jarlsberg and pearl onions on the skewers - 3 on each. Roast them in a pan or on a grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Relish

50 g cucumber
40 g olives
20 g capers
50 g bell pepper, roasted
1 dl olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice and grated zest
Salt and pepper

Chop all the ingredients and mix with the olive oil, lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper.
