French Toast

French toast makes a great breakfast on a Sunday morning. Easy to make and easy to enjoy by all members of the family. Be creative and try the European variety. Remove sugar, cardamom and berries and add a pinch of salt and grated Jarlsberg.

Ingredietns

8 slices loaf
2 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
2,5 dl / 8,5 fl oz full fat milk
0,4 tsp ground cardamom
4 tbsp Butter
3 dl / 10 fl oz stirred berries

How to do

  1. Cut of the crust from the loaf slices. Whisk eggs, sugar, milk and cardamom.
  2. Dip the loaf slices into the egg blend. Turn and wait until the blend soaks into the slice.
  3. Fry in the melted butter over medium heat until golden brown
  4. Serve while hot with stirred berries.
