French Toast
French toast makes a great breakfast on a Sunday morning. Easy to make and easy to enjoy by all
members of the family.
Be creative and try the European variety. Remove sugar, cardamom and berries and add a pinch of salt and grated
Jarlsberg.
Ingredietns
8 slices loaf
2 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
2,5 dl / 8,5 fl oz full fat milk
0,4 tsp ground cardamom
4 tbsp Butter
3 dl / 10 fl oz stirred berries
How to do
- Cut of the crust from the loaf slices. Whisk eggs, sugar, milk and cardamom.
- Dip the loaf slices into the egg blend. Turn and wait until the blend soaks into the slice.
- Fry in the melted butter over medium heat until golden brown
- Serve while hot with stirred berries.
