Tomatoes Baked with Jarlsberg
Tomato salad with Jarlsberg®, basil and pine nuts can be served with fresh bread as an independent
dish or as a starter
or a garnish to fish or meat.
Makes 4 portions
8 tomatoes
100 g / 3,5 oz grated Jarlsberg®
1/2 dl / 1,7 fl oz balsamico
4 cloves garlic
1 dl / 3 fl oz extra virgin oil
Salt and pepper
50 g / 1,5 oz roasted pine nuts

tbsp thyme
Cut the tomatoes in half. Bake the tomatoes in the oven with balsamico, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper for 15 minutes on 180 degrees. Remove the skin from the tomatoes, sprinkle grated Jarlsberg® and gratinate for 5 minutes. Sprinkle roasted pine nuts.
